August 2025 - We had 14 Friends who participated in this year’s Pride Parade. What a great turn out for our 3rd year walking!

Summer 2025 - Over the summer, Friends donated and purchased numerous books for the Prison Book Collective in Carrboro

Charlotte CROP Walk 2025

October 2025 - Charlotte Friends Meeting raised $1350 for the Crop Walk, donated multiple boxes filled with canned goods to Second Harvest Food Bank, and had 15 participants walk with the community --with our FDS young friends making up about half of our group! Canned Food Drive

Fall 2025 - This fall we collect over 400 pounds of nonperishable food for OurBridge, Nourish Up, and Hope Street Food Pantry.

Time Out Youth

12/28 - Holiday Craft Market

Time Out Youth provides resources and support to our LGBTQ+ youth and young adults. Their Life Essentials Closet provides basic life necessities that enable these youth/young adults to start each day with dignity and respect.

Donations can be dropped off at the Meetinghouse or sent via Amazon (order at bit.ly/TOYLIFE)

December 2025 - Friends purchased donated craft items from our Holiday Market. Proceeds went toward supporting local food pantries - Nourish Up and Second Harvest.
